Studio by the sea

It has been a shamefully long time since my last post! Plenty has happened since then, including an exciting new venture on Worthing seafront. This summer I signed the lease on a concrete beach hut, number 45 East Beach Studios, by Coast Café.

The same hut stocked some of my products before as part of Studio Freer, which moved a few doors down to a larger space. So it was familiar territory, which made it a bit less daunting! Apart from the lovely shelves and wooden floor left behind, what makes it really great is sharing the little space with some fantastic local artists and makers. These are Camilla’s Crafts: crochet and general craft queen, At the Little House: maker of illustrated accessories, and Sue Thompson: linocut printmaker.

Autumn-Winter opening hours are generally Thurs-Sun, 11-4, but this is weather-dependent as when it’s really bad we get weather inside too! Give our Facebook page a like to keep up to date, and if you can’t make it during opening hours we will happily make an appointment.

Our tiny studio-shop is already looking lovely, and we are working on making it cosy and inviting for the winter months. We stock a varied selection of prints, paintings, cards and gifts, and are adding more festive items as the merry season gets closer!
